Jimmy Carter – AGE 96

He may not be a famous celebrity, but Jimmy Carter is known around the world for the changes that he made for being the 39th U.S. President. He served the country from 1977 to 1981. He started as a Georgia State Senator from 1963 to 1967 and as the 76th Governor of Georgia from 1971 to 1975. As a child, Carter grew up in the southern state of Georgia and experienced racial segregation when he was growing up. He also served the Navy.

Now that he’s out of politics, Carter receives credits for continuously working on charities despite his age. He is now 96 years old. He is also an active activist for Civil Rights and founded the Carter Center to raise awareness about human rights. Therefore, retirement thoughts are also an advantage for him because he would also enjoy the benefits of working under the government for years.
