PHYLICIA RASHAD

Phylicia Rashād, as an American actress, singer and stage director,  is best known for her role as Clair Huxtable in the NBC sitcom “The Cosby Show” (1984-92). She won Emmy nominations in 1985 and 1986. She was called “Mother” by the black community at the 2010 NAACP Image Awards. Now, Phylicia Rashad continued to act. She has performed in various stage plays, TV shows and movies.

She has adapted “Raisins in the Sun” on TV and won another Emmy nomination for her performance. Recently, she has also participated in the production of the films “Creed” and “Creed II”, which are currently in post-production. Completely recognized in the industry, her color was never a hindrance to her success. The color she has made her beauty more unique and distinctive. Phylicia has won different awards, including People Choice Award, Tony Awards, The Bet Honors Awards, and NAACP Image Awards.
