American actress and model Minka Kelly, born Minka Dumont Dufay, is known for her leading role in NBC’s drama series, Friday Night Lights. The show effectively made her prominent in the acting industry. Originally born and raised in Los Angeles, she went to high school in New Mexico and later returned to Los Angeles with the hope of becoming a model.
