Like Lynda Carter, no one can forget the iconic portrayal of Helen Slater on the original TV adaptation of Supergirl back in the 80s. To which Helen Slater credits her popularity and Hollywood success when she took the lead role of Supergirl in 1984. In today’s generation, she is still in the new Supergirl TV series but she plays the role of Danvers Eliza. Everyone considers it as an honorary act to Helen.

But before her acting projects today, she’s always been famous in the entertainment industry and she credits this to her blockbuster movies, including The Secret of My Success, Ruthless People, and City Slickers. Besides acting, she also pursued singing where she managed to have five albums. Currently, Helen is the co-founder of a theater group, Naked Angels, located in New York. She has an amazing portfolio, which helped her land roles in Grease and Shakespeare and Friends.
