ALAN ARKIN – AGE 87

Actor, director, and screenwriter Alan Arkin has been in the spotlight for seven decades now. He has received several recognitions, credits, and accolades during his entire stay in the entertainment world. At the age of 86, if you think Arkin is up to retiring any time soon, think again. The actor confessed he wasn’t even thinking about it. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Arkin is familiar with life in the concrete jungle. Showbiz, as it turns, out is pretty much a jungle of its own as well.

He had three marriages— the last being the most successful since up to now, he and his third wife are still together. The beautiful Suzanne Newlander Arkin has been married to him since 1996. Life wasn’t always easy on Arkin, though. He admitted in one heartfelt interview that he was miserable at some point in his life. It was brief and severe, but Arkin never showed it. This is proof enough of the actor’s passion for his career.
