Tina Louise started as a stage actress in the 1950s. After almost a decade of a career as a stage performer, she got her first role in the drama film, God’s Little Acre. From here, her career started to change. After the movie’s release, Louise received a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year. Her talent didn’t go unnoticed. It also started her career on the small screen. She became a household name when she joined Gilligan’s Island in the 1960s.

However, in 2015, Louise already announced her retirement. But, she made an appearance in the 2019 film, Tapestry.
